Hey Cory, where are you from and who do you skate for?

I live in San Diego California and I'm am currently riding for Creature Skateboards, Vans, Skeleton Key Mfg., Royal Trappings, Independent Trucks, Oj Wheels, Paradox Grip and 187 Killer Pads.

How did you get involved with the Park Series?

I heard about the Vans Park Series and locations and emailed the boardr.com who is handling this event about trying to get in as one of the qualifiers.

Can you explain the format of the series to people?  What does it mean that you are a Global Challenger?

The format basically consists of a first day of qualifiers, trying to score in the top five to proceed to the semi's where there are already 15 invited pre-qualified riders that you are competing against to make finals.  To me it's a opportunity to try and prove yourself against the best riders in this kind of competitive format and continue to do what I enjoy, skateboarding!

Do you plan on going to all the contests?  Is it tough to get to all the locations?

Yes, Its takes a lot of planning with school and some of my other obligations

Who are some of the other challengers that you think will do well?

Everyone, this is top notch crew of skaters, it's anyone's game.

How did you feel about how Melbourne went down?

Melbourne was great, incredible place, good crew, I'm friends with most of the other riders so we all have a good time and Vans always puts together great events.

Congrats on being the highest ranked challenger!

Thank you
